We at Eastside Transmission have four decades of experience in servicing and repairing automatic transmissions for our customers in the greater Seattle area. With all the driving common to Seattle residents and businesses, it's inevitable that automatic transmissions will need frequent maintenance and repair.

Automatic transmissions function effectively because of the transmission fluids that lubricate and keep the engine running smoothly. Transmission fluids contain a number of chemical additives necessary for this smooth functioning. Over time though, these additives wear out and need servicing.

Before we service your transmission, we'll perform a no-charge diagnosis to make sure both our technicians and you know what we're doing. Once we've agreed to work together, we'll perform a number of functions when we service your automatic transmission. We'll:

• Change the fluid in your transmission system
• Remove the old transmission filter and replace it with a new filter
• Drain the old transmission fluid
• Clean or install a new transmission pan

If it's decided that you need a new transmission, our ASE and ATRA certified technicians will work with you to explore what options are best. At Eastside Transmission, it's our philosophy that customers and technicians need to make decisions together. We don't want to do anything without your consent and awareness.

After we've fixed your transmission, we'll perform several quick tests, including a road test, to make sure your automobile is functioning properly. We want you to be sure that when you get your car back, you won't need to come in a few days later for a minor issue.

We know how busy you are, and that's why it's our goal to get you and your car in and out of our shop as quickly as possible. Few people have the time to take a few days off, and we're fully aware of that. It's our commitment to you to get you on the road again as soon as we can.
